Nadezhda Misyakova to represent Belarus at the 2014 JESC

Belarus held its national final Республиканского детского конкурса “Песня для Евровидения” for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Minsk tonight.

The children’s musical spectacle was moderated by the 2014 Belarusian ESC representative Teo alongside Ilya Volkov, their 2013 JESC representative.

Namely, three acts scored a total of 15 points by a 50-50 split jury and telephone vote. In the end, the jury selected the 14-year-old from Minsk to be the 2014 Belarusian JESC representative in November. Nadezhda’s song is called Sokol, which translates to Hawk.
