Linda Martin replaces Johnny Logan in Luxembourg

The organizers of the Eurovision Gala Night in Luxembourg this October have just announced that Johnny Logan won’t be able to attend the Gala, due to other commitments. However, another Irish Eurovision winner is going to replace him – Linda Martin!

Linda Martin, the winner of the 1992 Eurovision Song Contest with “Why Me” (written by Johnny Logan), joins Alexander Rybak, and Conchita Wurst as the three special guests of this Eurovision Gala.

This year’s Eurovision Gala Night will be held on the 25th of October, at the prestigious Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains in Luxembourg. You can still order your tickets online for this show, clicking on this link.

I watched Eurovision in 1998 for the first time (by accident), and wondered what this show was where this girl with a cape sang in Croatian on Hungarian television. It's needless to say that I watch this show ever since. 2008 in Belgrade was the first Eurovision I've ever been to, and since then I've been to most of them.
My favourite Eurovision winner is "Everyway That I Can", and one of my all time favorite Eurovision songs is "Igranka".
