After last weeks announcement by France Télévisions that the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest will be broadcasted on France 2 instead of France 3, as in previous years, an additional novelty is that the sports reporter, Nelson Monfort, is considered to be the hot favourite to commentate the next edition of the ESC in Vienna.
In a radio broadcast this morning, Laurent Argelier from MFM Radio asked Monfort how he sees himself as the new commentator for Eurovision. Monfort replied quite seriously: “You are proposing the question with a grin, as if there is something fishy in that. The atmosphere of a contest as such suits me very well. I do the same when commenting sports, trying to transmit the beauty of life to my listeners.”
Nelson Monfort is a famous television host and sports reporter on France Télévisions for both televised and radio broadcasts.
