The Sammarinese television has been confirmed as a participant to the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, a few moments ago. The small state landlocked by Italy is at its second participation in the event.

Carlo Romeo, the Director General of SMRTV has signed all the papers necessary for taking part in Junior Eurovision in Malta. The artist and the song for San Marino will be presented by the end of the month.

Last year, San Marino debuted with the song “O-o-o sole intorno a me” sung by Michele Perniola, winner of the sixth edition of the italian kids talent show “Ti lascio una canzone”, the same talent show where Federica Falzon (Malta 2014), Vincenzo Cantiello (Italy 2014) and last year’s winner Gaia Cauchi come from.

This year’s Junior Eurovision will be held in Malta on the 15th of November. San Marino’s only neighboring country, Italy, will have their debut in Junior Eurovision.
