BTRC, the Belarussian national broadcaster, have just opened their call for songs for their national selection, and of course – Eurovision 2015!

All the interested composers/singers can submit their entry by the 21st of November. A special jury will listen through all the submitted songs, and select the best 15 by the 5th of December to enter the Belarusian national final.

All standard Eurovision rules regarding the participating artist and song are valid for this national final as well. However, there is a change in the voting rules of the national final – there will be seven jury members in the national final, whose names will be kept secret until the night of the national final, and televoting will now only count as 1/8 of the total score, or in other words – televoting will count the same as one member of the jury.

The national final will be held no later than the 23rd of January!

To all of you out there wishing to enter the Belarusian national final, you can send your songs in by post to: 220807, Minsk, str. Makaenka, 9, BTRC, marked for “National qualifying round of song competition “Eurovision-2015”.

Teo won last year’s EuroFest with “Cheesecake”, and he managed to qualify for the Grand Final in Copenhagen, where he finished 16th.
