Swedish stars in fundraising gala.

A glamorous fundraising night in Sweden has seen many live performances by former Melodifestivalen stars. Monday evening, on Sjuan, the “Tillsammans mot cancer” gala has been broadcast, with guest performances by Molly Sandén, Ulrik Munther and Jill Johnson.

Jill Johnson appeared on stage singing with Linnea Henriksson, one of the hottest artist right now in Sweden. They sang “If I needed you”. Jill has won Melodifestivalen in 1998, representing then Sweden in Birmingham with the song Kärleken är. She tried again in 2003, reaching the fourth place in the final.

Former child star Molly Sandén (and swedish entry for the Junior Eurovision 2006) was also on stage. After participating in 2009 and 2012 in Melodifestivalen, Molly had a great comeback this summer with the song “Freak”. She performed with a gospel choir from Tensta, a suburb of Stockholm.

Last but not least, Ulrik Munther. Another child prodigy, he participated in the 2009 edition of MGP Nordic, the equivalent of Junior Eurovision in the northern countries. After winning, he participated in 2012 and 2013 in Melodifestivalen. After some years, he is back with is first single in swedish after a long time. “Jag vet inte hur man gör” has been officially presented live during the gala night.
