In a televised programme on RTVSLO named “Nedeljsko popoldne z Ulo”, the Slovenian broadcaster just presented the song which will represent the small Alpine nation at the JESC next month in Malta.
Ula Lozar, a 12 year old from Ljubljana who was selected internally by RTVSLO in Septmeber, will sing the ballad “Nisi sam / Your Light”, composed by Ula Lozar, Raay and Marjetka Vovk. The text was written by Erika Mager, Lucienne Lonchina and Raay.
Slovenia is debuting at the JESC this year. After Montenegro and Italy, Slovenia is the third country that will participate in this contest for the first time. Give a listen to their debut entry, “Nisi sam / Your Light”:
