Georgia to select through a national final for Eurovision 2015

The Georgian national broadcaster GPB has just announced that their next entry in the Eurovision Song Contest is going to be selected through a national final, which is going to be held on the 14th of January in Tbilisi.

After two internal selections for Georgia in 2013 and 2014, GPB opts for a national final once again for 2015. All Georgian artists wishing to enter the national final, and represent Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest, can send their songs along with their CV and a photo to GPB (address: #68 Kostava Street) no later than the 20th of December.

The winner of the national final is going to be decided by a mix of televoting, and votes of a professional jury.

The last time Georgia held a national final was in 2012, when Anri Jokhadze represented his country in Azerbaijan with “I’m a Joker”. Mariko & The Shin were selected internally this year for Copenhagen with “Three Minutes To Earth”.
