Margaret likely to refuse TVP’s offer

As we reported few days before Margaret was asked by TVP to represent Poland in Eurovision 2015. The popular singer shared her comment during interview for 20m2’s Internet show. She said it’s nice to hear that people would like to see her on the Eurovision stage, and she considers this competition as a big thing. Unfortunately she seems to be sceptical of participating in the contest. “Eurovision is not about music any more, actually some kind of statements are more promoted there. I think I won’t participate, it’s not my time now, maybe at some point in the future” – she said.

Margaret won OGAE Poland’s poll and was named as fans favourite to represent this country in Vienna. Sylwia Grzeszczak was second, Edyta Gorniak (Eurovision 1994) third. TVP announced back in October that the next Polish Eurovision entry will be chosen internally by a specially formed team of professionals, journalists, composers and producers, as well as the board of OGAE Poland. The final decision will be revealed in the beginning of March 2015. So far Poland is not getting crazy about any new song which means that this year’s recipe (sending a massive hit “My Slowianie” released in November 2013 already) won’t be repeated, and Poland will most probably send a not-yet-composed song to Vienna.
