Huge viewing figures in the first heat of A Dal 2015!

The Hungarian national broadcaster MTVA keeps getting record viewing figures with the mega popular Eurovision national selection – A Dal. During the first heat of A Dal 2015 which was held on Saturday, 23.7% of the whole population of Hungary has tuned in for the show!

A Dal reached an audience of more than 2,097,000 people, out of which more than 849,000 people watched the show from its start until its end. Apart from that, the official website of A Dal has got the most clicks during past week within all the television stations in Hungary, and on the day of the first heat, A Dal had over 172,000 unique visitors on the website, while on Sunday this number reached 192,000.

The first semi final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, where András Kállay-Saunders was taking part was followed by a total of 526,000 people (that is 323,000 people less than the number of viewers of the first heat of A Dal 2015), while the Grand Final was followed by 918,000 people.
