During the sixth episode of the Cypriot “Eurovision Song Project”, the last nine participants presented their songs. The jury decided to say “YES” to two candidates only – a participant of “The Voice of Greece” Panayiotis Koufoyiannis, and singer Kyriacos Yeorgiou. Olivia Sofocli from London, Adrenaline by Kristis Koupatos (Helena’s dancer in Eurovision 2005), Gore Melian, Maria Pavlou, Myria Pambori, Stella Stylianou and Maria Esmeralda Constantinou have all been eliminated.
After six episodes the list of 20 participants of the Eurochallenge round is finally complete. Here are the qualifiers, with links to their selection songs:

Next week CyBC will air the first part of the Eurochallenge round. During the first show, the twenty artists will present stage performance of their songs. The jury (both local and international, including i.e. Christer Bjorkman from Sweden) will decide which ten artists will proceed to the next phase of the Eurochallenge. During the second show, the ten artists will perform a Eurovision entry of the past 60 years, followed by a piano. The jury will then decide which six artists will proceed to the final, which is scheduled for the 1st of February.
