Wilma and Reda eliminated in Lithuania

The third show of the Lithuanian national selection Nacionaline atranka took place last night, where 11 singers continued their battle for representing Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest. After the votes of the two juries (Lithuanian, and international) and televoting, two artists with the least number of points got eliminated – Wilma La, and Reda Striskaite.

Wilma La was voted last by the juries, and she finished second last in televoting. Reda would have been the last one to qualify for the fourth show according to the jury results, but finishing last in the televoting meant that she is not going to perform in the fourth show.

The winner of the third show was Monika Linkyte who won the jury votes and finished third in televoting. The televoting winner, Liepa Mondeikaite, failed to impress the juries as she was the one who finished second last in their vote, but overall came third. The full results of last night’s show were as follows:

  1. Monika Linkyte – 20 pts.
  2. Edgaras Lubys – 18 pts.
  3. Liepa Mondeikaite – 13 pts.
