The first heat of Supernova, the brand new selection process for Latvia has taken place in Riga and four songs have won a ticket to the semi final, due to take place on Sunday 15 February.
Two songs qualified first via the televote, and the jury chose a further two to go through to the semi final.

The second heat will take place on Sunday 8 February where a further 10 songs will compete for the remaining 4 places in the semi final!
