Melodi Grand Prix – no juries, and a goldfinal!

NRK, the Norwegian national broadcaster, just confirmed that there will be no juries in Melodi Grand Prix this year.

This means that the Norwegian people will get to decide which song and artist will defend the Norwegian colors in Vienna.

There will be two rounds in the final, which takes place in Oslo Spektrum on 14 March. First, the 11 finalists will perform their songs, before the first round of voting. Then, four acts who receive the highest number of votes will go head to head in a “goldfinal”. The winner will represent Norway in Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in May.
