This evening saw the 19th edition of the Slovenian national final – EMA 2015! The competition was used to select the Slovenian entrant for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, to be held in Vienna this May.

Out of eight competing acts, Maraaya was selected as the winner over two rounds of voting. In the first round, Maraaya alongside Rudi Bucar & Figoni was firstly picked by a three-member jury as a superfinalist. In the second round, the winner was chosen exclusively by public televote.

In Vienna, Slovenia will perform in the second half of the second semi-final, to be held on 21 May 2015.
