Super-Saturday tonight; four finals and a semi!

No less than FOUR countries will choose their entry to Eurovision Song Contest 2015 tonight, as Moldova, Finland, Hungary and Slovenia will all have their finals! And in Sweden it’s time for the last semifinal of Melodifestivalen.

Team members here on ESCBubble will, as always, blog live from all the finals, and also from the semifinal of Melofifestivalen. Here we take a closer look at what will happen tonight.

MOLDOVA
Moldova is organizing a Eurovision style selection this year, with semifinals on Tuesday and Thursday, and the Grand Final on Saturday. Each semifinal has given us eight acts, so tonight we will witness a 16 song final.

The 16 Moldovan finalists are;

  • Miss M – Lonely Stranger
  • Donita Gherman – Inima fierbinte

  • Marcel Rosca – Feelings Will Never Leave
  • Glam Girls – Magia
  • Diana Brescan – Up And Down
  • Serj Kuzenkoff – Danu nazdravanu
  • SunStroke Project & Michael Ra – Day After Day
  • Irina KitoroagaI’m Gonna Get You
  • Michaela Andrei – About Love

FINLAND
The Finnish pre-selection, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2015, has consisted of three semifinals, where 18 songs have been reduced to 9 finalists.

The nine Finnish finalists are:

  • Satin Circus – Crossroads
  • Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät – Aina Mun Pitää
  • Norlan El Misionario – No Voy a Llorar Por Ti
  • Shava – Ostarilla
  • Opera Skaala – Heart Of Light
  • Jouni Aslak Lions And Lambs
  • Järjestyshäiriö – Särkyneiden sydänten kulmilla
  • Angelo De Nile – All for victory
  • Solju – Hold your colours

HUNGARY
The Hungarian pre-selection to Eurovision Song Contest 2015, A Dal, concludes with its Grand Final tonight. After three heats and two semifinals, we are now left with eight songs in the Grand Final.

The line-up in the final looks as follows:

  • Ádám Szabó – Give Me Your Love
  • Bálint Gájer – That’s How It Goes
  • Boggie – Wars For Nothing
  • Ív – Fire
  • Kati Wolf – Ne engedj el
  • Passed – Mesmerize
  • Spoon – Keep Marching On
  • Zoltán Mujahid – Beside You

In the first round of voting, the juries will give 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 points to their top six, and the four songs with the biggest score will qualify for the Super-Final. The audience will then select the winner of A Dal 2015, who will be representing Hungary in Eurovision 2015 after televoting for the four Super-Finalists.

SLOVENIA

RTV SLO has decided on an eight song final for EMA 2015. The songs were broadcast for the first time last week, on two different radio stations.

Tonight the songs will be performed in the following order:

    1. Alya & Neno Belan – Misunderstandings
    2. Tim Kores – Once too many times
    3. Jana Sustersic – Glas Srca
    4. I.C.E. – Vse mogoce
    5. Clemens – Mava to
    6. Maraaya – Here for you
    7. Rudi Bucas & Figoni – Saltinka
    8. Martina Majerle – Alive

 

 The hosts of EMA 2015 will be Darja Svajger, Maja Keuc, Tinkara Kovac and Nejc Smit. You can still vote for your favourite in EMA right here:


SWEDEN
We have arrived at the last of four semifinals in this year’s Melodifestivalen. Two of tonight’s seven songs will qualify directly to the final, which takes place on 14 March. Another two will get a second chance to qualify to the final, through next weekend’s Second Chance heat.

Tonight’s line-up is as follows:

  5. Dinah Nah – Make Me (La La La)
