Österreichische Post – Official Partner of Eurovision 2015

Österreichische Post – the postal service of Austria – has become an official partner of Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

On behalf of the European Broadcasting Union, Jon Ola Sand, the executive supervisor of the Song Contest said today: “We’re glad to welcome Austrian Post to the Eurovision Song Contest family as an official partner. With their help, the contest will build even stronger bridges across participating countries and beyond.”

As an official partner, Österreichische Post is conferred extensive media rights for the forthcoming events to be held in Vienna. In its support to the contest, Österreichische Post will, amongst other marketing activities, also brand a large portion of its fleet and postboxes across Austria.

“The Eurovision Song Contest is much more than a musical show of strength. It is a symbol for a life in peace, freedom and mutual tolerance. The Eurovision Song Contest is taking place in Austria this year for the second time, following the event in 1967. This represents a major success for our country and the domestic music scene. Therefore Austrian Post announces with a great deal of pride and joy that it is an official partner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015,” said Dr Georg Pölzl, the general director of Österreichische Post.

Thus, Österreichische Post joins the Austrian Airlines in support of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest which is set to take place on 19, 21 and 23 of May.
