Polish Television TVP revealed that the national entry will be announced 9th March (Monday) at 18:30 CET during popular live-show “Swiat sie kreci” hosted by Agata Mlynarska. Chosen artist will be the special guest and the song as well as videoclip will be presented for the very first time during the show. Special press conference is scheduled later that evening to reveal more exciting news about Polish Eurovision project and give journalists the chance to ask some questions and meet the singer. There will be no online press release before “Swiat sie kreci” as TVP wants to keep everything in secret as long as it will be possible to make fans even more excited about new entrant.
Among the rumored names we can generally find big names such as Edyta Gorniak (Dublin 1994) and Doda but also Halina Mlynova, treated usually as back-up plan in case more popular singer will refuse to participate in Vienna. There is still no confirmation about the song, but according to different sources, Polish entrant will perform song especially written for Eurovision by local or foreign composer.

Worth to mention that Eurovision is one of the main topic in Polish media again because of Finnish entry Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät. Tonight their story was presented in popular private broadcaster TVN news-program “Fakty”. PKN already made the headlines of many local news-websites. Previous Polish entrant – Donatan – comments PKN’s case on his Facebook. “Eurovision became the contest where you should do something strange and add the ideology to shock everyone, which is quasi funny and interesing.” He admit it’s not good to use disabled people for commercial reasons and that he will present heterosexual wedding on stage in 2016 fo surprised Europe.
