Austrian Post to release the book “60 Years of the Eurovision Song Contest”

Österreichische Post – Austrian postal service and this year’s Eurovision Song Contest official partner – is to release a picture book on the history of the Eurovision Song Contest, to mark the special 60th jubilee of the biggest music spectacle the world has ever seen.

The round number anniversary of the contest was the occasion for Austrian Post to create a 180-page publication which will take the reader on a “Eurovision journey” through six decades of the contest’s existence, presenting greatest victories and bitter defeats, music successes and colossal flops, stars and scandals, and a lot more.

The book will be released on the 20th of April in both English and German, and will include a collection of commemorative Eurovision postal stamps, valued at €4.80. This “must have” limited publication for Eurovision fans is priced at €19.99 and will be available via the Austrian Post Online Shop and in all post offices across Austria.
