Edsilia Rombley to give the Dutch points at this year’s Eurovision final!

Fresh from her hosting duties at last weekend’s Eurovision in Concert in Amsterdam, where she went down a storm, it has been revealed that Edsilia Rombley will announce the votes for The Netherlands at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna on Saturday 23 May.

Edsilia, of course, is no stranger to Eurovision, coming 4th in 1998 with ‘Heml en aarde’ and also competing in the 2007 semi-final with ‘On Top of the World’ where she sadly didn’t make the final, but made a guest appearance during the Dutch votes where she announced the 12 points!

Edsilia joins the long list of former contestants who have given the points for their country at Eurovision. This year so far, we also have Valentina Monetta for San Marino and Helena Paparizou for Greece, and there’s sure to be more!
