Interview with Electro Velvet from United Kingdom!

This evening, the London Preview Party will take place at the Café de Paris. One of the acts who will be performing their, of course, will be the entrants from the United Kingdom – Alex Larke and Bianca Nicholas, better known as Electro Velvet!

Last weekend, they were in Amsterdam for Eurovision in Concert. Daria spoke to them about how they became to be the British entrants in Eurovision 2015, plus a lot more!

As the United Kingdom are one of the ‘Big 5’ – they have a guaranteed spot in the final, so Electro Velvet will be singing their song ‘Still In Love With You’ on the Saturday evening. Can they end the UK’s recent run of mediocre results?

Languages. Flags. Numbers. Three of my favourite things. So it’s really no surprise that I am a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest! I’ve been obsessed since 1989 when I turned on the TV to see this strange show with people from different countries singing in different languages wearing sparkly outfits and then voting on each other’s songs! I was instantly hooked! I’ve now been to ten Eurovision and looking forward to number eleven in Israel. My favourite Eurovision song of all time is ‘Quand je te rêve’ by Céline Carzo (Luxembourg 1990). I’m pretty sure no one else can say the same thing!
