Poland most likely to participate in Eurovision 2016

Even if there are still 12 days left to the first technical rehearsal of Polish Eurovision 2015 entrant Monika Kuszynska, Polish Television already plans to take part in next year’s edition! TVP revealed the draft of program schedule for 2016 and all three shows of 61st Eurovision Song Contest are included. Even if it’s not the official confirmation Polish fans considered it as very good sign and they hope Poland will not withdraw from the competition again. Poland didn’t take part in Eurovision 2012-2013 and after the comeback many things changed regarding to the contest. TVP selects its entrants internally, all three shows are broadcasted live and Eurovision received better promotion in Polish broadcaster. This year each semifinal and final will be proceeded by 30-minutes warm up show called “Eurovision Stars Parade” where the most popular and interesting performances from the history of the competition will be presented to the audience.

Artur Orzech will once again comment the whole show and, according to the rumors, Cleo will announce Polish points during the final. Cleo represented Poland last year with Donatan and their massive hit “My Slowianie – We Are Slavic”. Cleo is also the member of Polish National Jury along with her producer Donatan and Michał Wisniewski, lead singer of the band Ich Troje (Eurovision 2003 and 2006).

This year Poland will be represented by Monika Kuszynska and her ballad “In the name of love”. “This competition is unpredictable. If I will expect definite result I can be disappointed. I’m also older than other participants and I think I have more distance to everything because of my life experience” – Monika said to the Polish Press Agency.
