Ofcourse Sanna would say ”yes”!

Right after his win in Vienna, Måns Zelmerlöw declared it would be an honour to be asked to host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna and something he’d definitely would want to do. Sanna Nielsen is another name on heavy rotation in the rumours as to who could become next year’s host(s). After having in Melodifestivalen 7 times, ending 3rd in Eurovision, hosting Melodifestivalen 2015 with great success and being a Eurovision 2015 co-commentator for SVT alongside Edward af Sillén, it is no surprise that people  see Sanna as a very competent person for the job.

When Swedish tabloid Kvällsposten ask her about it, she says it’s nice her name is circulating. She has no idea wether she is actually being considered a possibility by the core team in charge of next year’s contest, but that it’s great that people want to see her host it. That it would be interesting, she loves Melodifestivalen and Eurovision, but ofcourse she’d like to be in the running for the job! And, she concludes, that if it’s gonna be two hosts, she’d like to have Robin Paulsson alongside her, as everything worked out so well during Melodifestivalen.

If she gets the job, though, she admits there’s one thing she needs to work on. ”I do speak a few words of French, not more. I did have to say a few lines in French during Melodifestivalen, when the international juries presented their votes, I was really proud back then, but in that case it’s gonna be a French course for me.”
