The organizers of the annual Eurovision Live Concert in Portugal have announced that this year’s Latvian Eurovision entrant, Aminata Savadogo, had to cancel her trip to Setubal, and will thus not be in the line-up at this concert.

Due to Aminata’s contract to a well-known sports brand, she is prevented from taking part in the Portuguese Eurovision event, which will take place at the Forum Luisa Todi in Setubal, on the 12th of September. Even though her participation was already confirmed, the organizers can not guarantee Aminata’s arrival back to Latvia by 10 am on the 13th of September, when she will have an event that she is contractually obliged to attend.

The organizers of Eurovision Live Concert will announce a new act to take part in the Setubal concert on Friday.

After staying in the semi finals for six years in a row, Aminata managed to bring Latvia back into the Grand Final this year, with her song “Love Injected”, which finished sixth.
