RTVSLO, Slovenian broadcaster, last year debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, with Ula Lozar and her song “Nisi sam/Your Light”. This year they decided to send a second participant in a row – this time with a national selection – MINI EMA 2015.
There will be six contestants, who will be looking forward to stand on the stage in Sofia. And who are the contestants?
Tina Vinter, who will compete with a song, called “Brez okov”, a duet – Jaka & Maks will participate with “Full of Energy”, Leni will sing “Najlepši dan”, Lina Kuduzović, the very first Slovenia’s got talent winner, will participate in the contest with “Prva ljubezen”, Rebeka Satler will be taking part with the song “S tabo / Let you go” and Janina Klenovšek with “Sonce v ogledalu”.
The jury which selected all of six songs are: singer Alenka Godec, director and conductor of the Children’s Choir of RTV Slovenia, Anka Jazbec, and musician, composer, arranger and producer, Boštjan Grabnar. They chose six acts from all songs, registered on the tender MINI EMA 2015.
National selections MINI EMA 2015 will be broadcasted during a TV – show Vikend paket, three Sundays in a row; September 20th, September 27th and final evening on October 4th. RTVSLO will present three songs per semi final. Every semi final will have one winner selected by the juries, who will get a ticket to the Grand Final of MINI EMA 2015, and it the final evening, televoting will decide who will represent Slovenia in 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Last year Ula Ložar represented Slovenia in Malta with the song “Nisi sam/Your Light”, finishing 12th out of 16 entrants.
