Listen to ”Oluja” from Montenegro by Jana Mirkovic!

Jana Mirkovic, the Montenegrin representative at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015, released the official video of her entry, this afternoon. The song is called ‘’Oluja’’, which means ‘’Storm’’ in English. During the course of the summer, Montenegro had announced that the 15 year-old, Jana Mirkovic, would represent the country, in Sofia, at the end of the month of November at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

The song was composed by Mirsad Serhatlic and the lyrics were written by Boban Novovic. Vladimir Graic was in charge of the arrangements. Vladimir Graic is a well-known songwriter: he has composed two Eurovision entries. Back in 2007, he composed the ‘’Molitva’’ for Marija Serfovic, who won the contest that year. This year, he also helped Serbia by composing Bojana Stamenov’s song, ‘’Beauty never lies’’. She finished 10th, with a total of 53 points.

Jana Mirkovic is born in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro. She started studying at a music school, at a very young age. She is a great singer, but also knows how to play two instruments: piano and violin. Jana also attends the UMS Talent School, as well as schools for ballet and dancing. She has taken part to many music festivals all over the European continent and has even hosted a TV show in her country! She looks up to her favorite international stars, Barbara Streisand and Jennifer Lopez.
