Moments ago, Macedonia’s national television MRT announced in their news programme that the Macedonian Diva, Kaliopi, will represent her homeland once again in the Eurovision Song Contest!
Kaliopi represented Macedonia back in 2012 with “Crno i belo”, and is to date the only entrant to reach the final for Macedonia since 2008! The song that she will sing in Eurovision in Stockholm is yet to be decided, and it will be presented in a special TV show on MRT in February next year.
During the news programme where Kaliopi was presented as the country’s Eurovision entrant for Stockholm, she said:
I’m really exited because I will represent Macedonia in Stockholm, the center of world music. I’m convinced that this will be my life performance and I will turn this 3 minutes on stage into eternity and will make every Macedonian feel proud.
