Radio Tirana will air all entries of Festivali i Kenges before the show
Albanian broadcaster RTSH decided to publish 30 entries of 54th Festivali i Kenges via Radio Tirana one month before the show and let Albanian viewers and listeners (and Eurovision fans too) listen to all of them.
Previously all entries were presented for the first time during the competition. It is unknown if the whole studio versions will be available to listen or RTSH will present only the snippets of each song. ImaAlbania.com claims it can increase the interest of Festivali i Kenges and promote the competition before the semifinals scheduled for 25th and 26th December.
In each of the two semifinals, 15 participants will fight for 9 spots in the final, that means 18 entries will be presented during the Grand Final on 27th December and compete for the right to represent Albania in Stockholm next year. Just to remind you, each song will be presented live with RTSH orchestra, so even if we will know studio version before, live version could be slightly different. Results of semifinals and the final will be decided by professional jury only.
The show will be hosted by composer Pandi Laço (he wrote several Eurovision entries from Albania), Gresa Pallaska and Bierta Tafani.
That is great…All countries should release the full(even & not just the snippets) songs of their NF much time before the Final show so we eurofans could check them out & get to know them..
4 example,Estonia will gonna release all the songs of Eesti Laul almost 3 months before the Final in March!
It is the same with EuroVision that we know all the songs on March 2+ months before the grand final of May!
