Maltese broadcaster TVM has just announced Ben Camille as the host for their national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016. Ben Camille is an actor, most known for acting in one of the most popular series on Maltese television and besides that also a model. Being interviewed by Maltese television, Camille said it is an honour to present such a national event.

Even though he’s very excited with this chance being given, Ben must admit he’s a tiny bit nervous. Camille also thanked PBS’ Chief Executive Anton Attard for this opportunity and took the chance to wish all the contestants in this year’s national selection the best of luck.

The 20 finalists in the running (who can be listened to right here(Click!)) will compete in the semi-final on January 22 first. 14 of them will proceed to the final which will be held the day after in the Mediterranean Conference Center in Valletta.
