Today Icelandic broadcaster RUV published all of the 12 songs of the Söngvakeppnin 2016. You can listen to the songs by clicking the link! You can also find lyrics for the songs below videos.

There will be two semi-finals, on the 6th and 13th of February, featuring six songs each. 3 best songs of each semi-final will proceed to the final on February 20. There will be also a wild-card to give by jury.
