Jamie-Lee Kriewitz wins Unser Lied für Stockholm!

This evening, Unser Lied für Stockholm, the German national final took place and Jamie-Lee Kriewitz won the competition with the song Ghost.

Ten songs took part in the first round and after the first round of voting, the three songs with the most votes and going through to the superfinal were:

Avantasia – Mystery of a Blood Red Rose
Alex Diehl – Nur ein Lied
Jamie-Lee Kriewitz – Ghost

The voting was then reset and after all three superfinalists performed again for the second time, Jamie_lee was announced as the winner!

The results of the top 3 were

1 Jamie-Lee Kriewitz – 44.5%
2 Alex Diehl – 33.9%
3 Avantasia – 21.6%

Jamie-Lee will now go to Stockholm as the German representative and will try to improve on last year’s nul points, achieved by Ann Sophie with ‘Black Smoke’. Germany, as one of the Big Five have an automatic spot in the Grand Final on Saturday 14 May.
