The Moldovan national broadcaster announced that Katherine and Litesound have withdrew their bid to represent Moldova in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest!

Due to “personal reasons”, Litesound (who represented Belarus in Eurovision 2012) and Katherine had to withdraw their song “Imagine” from the Moldovan national selection. That means that the song that originally finished 25th with the pre-selection jury will take their place in the semi finals of O Melodie Pentru Europa, and that is “Va fi târziu” by Valentina Nejel.

The semi finals of O Melodie Pentru Europa will take place on the 23rd and the 25th of February, with the Final being on the 27th of February. Give a listen to the newest addition to Moldova’s selection right here:
