Nina Kraljić to represent Croatia at the Eurovision 2016!

Croatian broadcaster HRT, has finally confirmed, what was already speculated for months – Croatian representative, after two-years break, is Nina Kraljić! This honor was given thanks to her victory in the first season of  The Voice of Croatia.

After months of speculations, Croatia is finally back in the Eurovision Song Contest, this year together with Nina Kraljić, 23 – years old girl, who just won The Voice of Croatia, last year. Song, which will represent Croatia at the upcoming Eurovision, will be present in next weeks!

“In just a year, so many beautiful thing happened to me, from winning the show The Voice of Croatia, to three nominations for the Porin Music Award, and now I’m going to Sweden to represent Croatia in the Eurovision Song Contest,” Nina says, adding: “What can I expect? I expect great performance of mine, and I really want to present Croatia in the best way possible!”

In the final show of Croatian singing show, Nina Kraljić & her coach Jacques Haudek, together performed “Euphoria”, Eurovision 2012 winner, performed by Loreen, who brought a trophy back to Sweden, right after 13 years, so we’d like to invite you, to take a look to Nina Kraljić’s performance of “Euphoria”, as well as her song, which Nina released in a very shortly time after winning The Voice of Croatia, “Zaljuljali smo Svijet”

As HRT just announced the artist, we don’t know yet when song is going to be presented, but regarding to Croatian news, song is to be announced in few weeks. Croatia firstly participated in 1993, when group Put represented Croatia with a song “Don’t Ever Cry“, after passing through Semi-Final, called Kvalifikacija za Millstreet / Qualifications for Millstreet, which was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Their last appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2013, while this Mediterranean country was represented by internally selected Klapa s Mora, they performed “Mižerja“, but unfortunately they didn’t make it to the Grand Final of Eurovision 2013.
