Another name is being added to the list of returning artists in Eurovision 2016, as Poli Genova has been selected to represent Bulgaria in the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time!
Poli Genova represented Bulgaria back in 2011 with her song “Na inat”, which unfortunately failed to qualify for the Grand Final. Now she is getting a second chance as the Bulgarian national broadcaster BNT selected her internally to represent Bulgaria in Eurovision for the second time.
The Bulgarian Head of Delegation, Joana Levieva-Sawyer said:
Poli Genova is already widely popular internationally, especially within the Eurovision Song Contest community. She also did an amazing job as the presenter of the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and these were big factors in our choice.
