Sandhja wins Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu!

Tonight, after an exciting and tense final, Sandjha was chosen by 50% jury and 50% televote to represent Finland!

Sandhja will be singing “Sing It Away” in the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 10, 2016 in Stockholm, Sweden and won a thrilling show that we followed live here on ESCBubble.

After the jury vote, Sandhja held a slight lead, and the televotes were then announced, and although Sandhja only came third, she had a big enough lead to hold off Mikael Saari and Saara Alto, who were the hot favourites for victory!

The final result was:

1 – Sandja – 160
2 – Saara Alto – 154
3 – Mikael Saari – 151
4 – Barbe-Q-Barbies – 85
5 – Annica Milán & Kimmo Blom – 81
6 – Cristal Snow – 80
7 – Eini – 61
8 – Stella Christine – 47
9 – Tuuli Okkonen – 41
