The Polish national broadcaster TVP has announced its plans to reveal the names of their finalists for the country’s 2016 National Final for the Eurovision Song Contest, which is to be held in Stockholm, Sweden, during a live broadcast of “Swiat sie kreci” on 16th February at 18:30 CET. The show is to be hosted by Agata Mlynarska.
On the following day, 17th February, TVP will reveal the running order in the same show.
TVP also announced that the finalists will perform live on stage during the broadcasts of the show “Swiat sie kreci” from 18th February to 4th March.
The Polish National Final will take place on 5th March in Warsaw. According to different rumours, Edyta Gorniak and Margaret are the top two names to qualify amongst the many submissions. Edyta will perform her ballad “Grateful” for the very first time on 14th Feburary in Krakow, where she will finish her present tour, and Margaret revealed that the Azerbaijani singer and past Eurovision contestant Arash is the co-writer of her song “Cool Me Down”. The song will be released in digital form later this month.
