Zoe is YOUR winner of the Austrian Eurovision selection!

The Austrian national selection where we will find out Wer Singt Für Österreich is taking place tonight in Vienna. Just before the show, we checked who do our readers want to see winning tonight, and who do our readers think should be representing Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm.

The winner of our poll is Zoe with her song “Loin d’ici” with amazing 46,49% of the votes, followed by Orry Jackson in second place with 17,54% and Lia Weller in third with 9,65% of the votes. Check out the full ranking here:

Our editors have also listened to the 10 participating songs in tonight’s final, and the top five of our selection was as follows:

Our editors have agreed with our readers, as the top four is exactly the same. Our editor Mikael thinks that ”Loin d’ici” is one of the most magical songs he’s ever heard. He doesn’t usually appreciate songs in French, but says that this one is simply ”incroyable”, and a masterpiece! Ervin thinks that there is something very mesmerizing about “Loin d’ici”, and that Zoe’s gentle yet powerful vocals suit the song perfectly. He also thinks that the melody of the song is very pleasant and nice, and that the arrangements of the song could not have been done better.
