21-year old Natalia Szroeder from Kashubia (North Poland) will be the only one finalist to sing in Polish during the National Final scheduled for this Saturday in Warsaw! Her entry is “Lustra” which means “Mirrors”. Natalia is not only the singer but also lyricist and she is famous thanks to the collaboration with popular Polish rapper Liber. She is also very talented performer and she proved it as the participant of Polish version of “Your Face Sounds Familiar”.

What was your first reaction when you discovered you will participate in the National Final 2016?
Huge excitement and it’s still inside me and my loved ones 🙂
Why did you decide to take part in the competition?
That was my management’s idea, and I like to test myself on different stages, so I thought it could be another nice experience and big adventure for sure. I follow Eurovision Song Contest for many years and I will be proud to perform on the stage of the National Final.
You are the only one finalist with song in Polish language. Do you think you will have the advantage or maybe it will be harder for you to win?
I don’t consider it that way. I love to sing in Polish and I will just do my best on 5th March.
What were your thoughts when you wrote “Lustra”?
“Lustra” has been created thanks to many authors. I think everyone of us had different emotions and feelings which finally met in one place to find the common sense. Personally, I thought about unfulfilled love and returning karma. We’ve managed to include some kind of ballad-style emotions which are typical for me but they are connected with energetic rhythm.
You are very popular in Poland. What European fans should know about you and how would you convince them to your music?
I would like to let them hear the passion and honesty in my voice. I just love to sing with all my heart and I think the truth is the most important thing.
What are your plans ahead the National Final? Can you tell us something about the preparations?
Everything is quite spontaneously. Everyday we are learning about new details regarding upcoming show. I don’t want to reveal too much, but I promise I’ll do 200% of me!
If you could choose, which ESC-singer would you like to impersonate in “Your Face Sounds Familiar”?
If I could pick I would like to be Mans Zelmerlow! His winning song hit “Heroes” stole my heart last year and it’s definitelt my favorite song in recent years.
