Agnete releases the official video for “Icebreaker”

Earlier today, NRK released the official music video for Agnete’s ”Icebreaker”. Agnete decided to record the music video in Nesseby, her hometown and Alta, two municipalities in Finmark County, located in the North of Norway.

The song is composed and written by Agnete K. Johnsen, herself with the help of Gabriel Alares and Ian Curnow. On February 27th 2016, Agnete won Melodi Grand Prix 2016 with ”Icebreaker” and will participate in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2016: she will perform 16th, during this semi-final. She dedicated her Eurovision entry to one of her friends. Back in 2008, Agnete won Melodi Grand Prix Junior with her band the Blacksheeps and the song ”Oro jaska, beana”. She also participated, with this band, in Melodi Grand Prix 2011 and Stjernekamp, a Norwegian TV program.

Last year, in Vienna, Mørland & Debrah Scarlett represented Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, with the song ”A monster like me”. They finished 8th during the Final, with a total of 102 points. Norway won the contest 3 times (in 1985, 1995 and 2009) and will be seeking for its 4th victory, in Stockholm this year.
