Highway were internally selected to represent Montenegro at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm, with their song “The Real Thing”. In a short amount of time since the song got released, it got lots of success not just in Montenegro, but in most of the Balkans, and the song just reached number 1 in the regional charts!
Highway’s “The Real Thing” has reached the number 1 spot in the MTV Adria charts for the best song and video clip in the Adria region, which covers most of the Balkans. This is also the only Eurovision song that has found its way to the top 20 of these charts. We can also see Daniel Kajmakoski at number 6, with his song “Samo za ljubav” (Eng. Only for love).
