What is it with these people who say “oh it’s so 1980s”. The songs in the contest this year, like every year, reflect musical eras from all times. There are disco songs, the Serbian song has traces of Molitva in it, the Latvian song is a throw back to the past with it’s bond-esque feel to it. So it sounds 1980’s. The 80’s was a great era for music and this is a good song. Michal’s voice is amazing and he can sing the song live and it sound the same as his recorded version. Now how many of this entrants can do that?
