Raiven released new single ‘Nov Planet’!

Raiven, runner-up at this year’s Slovenian Eurovision national selection, EMA 2016, hasn’t finished her musical career after not winning EMA 2016 earlier this year – one of the most extravagant Slovenian artists just released a brand new song, called ‘Nov Planet‘ (eng. New Planet)

Sara Briški Cirman, which is Raiven’s real name, received huge attention in Slovenia, when she released her very first single, called Jadra, back there in November 2014, following singles called ‘Bežim’ and her EMA 2016 entry, ‘Črno Bel’, when she received European attention, when becoming 2nd at Slovenian selection for Eurovision Song Contest. ‘Nov Planet‘ is Raiven’s 4th single, and just as the other ones, this one is also in Slovenian language.

“After competing at EMA 2016, I’m presenting you my new single Nov Planet, which is a pop song, with an elements of classic and electronic music. So far, I also wrote a lyrics for my song, meanwhile Jernej Kržič and Tadej Košir produced my song musically. This time we needed a bit more of classic instruments – we’ve recorded real violins, piano and harp, which is actually my trademark,” Raiven said about creating her song.

And what is song actually about?
“Song is talking about my view of music. After competing at EMA 2016 I got so many chances and opportunities, and therefore I started to look at the whole music world a bit differently, as I did in the past. I can see universe inside of it, that’s also main reason why I entitled my new song ‘Nov Planet’. Lyrics is also a bit misterious, because it looks like that I’m talking about relationship between two human beings, which is partly true,” Raiven answered to our question.

Raiven is also presenting brand new promo pictures, made by Ulla Wolk, including styiling, which is part of the story, created by Lea Behek.

‘Nov Planet’ is also out now on iTunes, so feel free to grab your copy right here, and feel free to listen to the song below. Do you want to see Raiven again to compete for a golden ticket to the Eurovision next year?  Let us know in the comments below!
