Shir & Tim will represent Israel in Valletta!

Yesterday, IBA announced that Shira Frieman and TimoTi Sannikov will represent Israel at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2o16, at the end of the month of November, in Malta.

The duo will ”Follow your heart”, a song written by Noam Horev and composed by Dor Daniel. Back in 2010, Noam Horev wrote the song ”Milim”, performed by Harel Skaat at the Eurovision Song Contest.

TimoTi participated in the Voice Kids in Russia and Ukraine. He also competed in the New Wave Junior, in 2015. Shira took part in a TV show called ”Music School”, in Israel.

This year, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in the capital city of Malta, Valletta, on the afternoon of Sunday 20 November, after Destiny Chukunyere’s victory in Sofia, last year. Malta also hosted this contest back in 2014.

The last time Israel participated in the Junior Eurovision was in 2012. The group Kids.il represented the country and finished in 8th place, with a total of 68 points.
