Today MRT have revealed the singer that will be representing them in Kiev at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in May.
They have chosen Jana Burčeska!

Jana came visible to the public eye by participating in the first season of Macedonian Idol, placing 5th overall.
In 2011 she became ambassador in a national UNICEF project called: Together for schools without violence.
She participated in popular music festival Skopje fest thrice: in 2012, in 2013 with Miki Sekulovski and solo again in 2015.

Jana has lent her vocals for several collaborations, including one with the Macedonian cult band Mizar for the song ”Nebo”:

MRT aim to choose a songwriting team that should lead to a modern song for Jana, yet one that will include Macedonian culture for the world to see.
Information about the song will be revealed by MRT somewhere in the upcoming months.
