Azeri press agency APA have received news from Azeri broadcaster ITV that Diana Hajiyeva, also known by her stage name DiHaj, has chosen to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017.
She has previously tried to represent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest by participating in the 2011 Azeri selection and was a backing vocalist for Samra at the contest in Stockholm earlier this year.

DiHaj is from Baku and her musical style can be described as experimental pop.
