Slavko Kalezić will represent Montenegro at Eurovision 2017!

RTCG, responsible for Montenegro’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest, have just announced it: Slavko Kalezić will be representing the country in Kiev next year, with a song called ”Space’‘!

RTCG said they would be announcing their decision in December, which it still is, though fans expected news sooner this month. On that the broadcaster explains that their call for entries, which was announced by our company in mid-October was answered by 20 authors with 27 compositions. This was one of the reasons it took so long to take a final decision.

Slavko is a graduate from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje with a specialisation in solo singing and dancing. He also took obtained his master’s degree there. Nowadays he’s an actor at the Montenegrin national theatre.
He also participated in X Factor Adria, a performance from that can be seen below:

The composer and lyricist of his entry, by the name of ”Space”, is Momcilo Zeković, member of the group Perper and composer to numerous other Montenegrin artists.
Information on the release of the song itself has not been announced yet.
