RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster has just revealed that their national selection “Objetivo Eurovision” is going to take place in February next year.
During a week’s long online voting, readers of rtve.es from all over the world could pick their 10 favorite songs to proceed to the next stage of the Spanish national selection – the Eurocasting. On the 12th of January, the following 10 acts are going to compete for a single place in the national final (in alphabetical order):
- Brequette Cassie – No Enemy
- Fruela – Live It Up
- Javian – No somos heroes
- LeKlein – Ouch!
- Nicky Triphook – Daddy’s Little Girl
- Nieves Hidalgo – Esclava
- Nito – Luna
- Pedro Elipe – Del dolor
- Rebeca Moss – Volvere por ti
- Romy Low – In Love
Apart from the winner of Eurocasting, various other acts are going to be selected internally by TVE to take part in the televised national final “Objetivo Eurovision” in February. The dates, as well as the names of the acts and their songs will be revealed in due course.
Barei represented Spain earlier this year with her song “Say Yay”, and the first ever song sung fully in English for Spain ended up 22nd in the Grand Final in Stockholm.
