Tonight Krista Siegfrids, who represented Finland in 2013 with ‘Marry Me’, is participating in Melodifestivalen for the second time! She’s in with her song Snurra min jord.

Congratulations on being selected for Melodifestivalen again, Krista! What was your first reaction when you heard it?
I was very happy! It feels amazing to get this opportunity. I was really close to make it to Andra chansen last year so I really want revenge this time! Hah!
Could you tell us a bit about yourself?
I’m a driven and bubbly woman who loves life, music, art and entertainment! I’m also a very restless soul. I need to do things all the time!
What is your song about?
It’s a personal song that I’ve written to my boyfriend. It’s about the everyday struggle. We’ve been together for a long time but still it’s hard for us to find time for each other because both of us are so busy with our careers. But we love each other and we really try to make it work. It’s a melancholic song with a clubby vibe.
What made you decide to participate in Melodifestivalen again?
I wanted revenge! Hah! And I really love this song. It’s better than Faller. And I LOVE MELODIFESTIVALEN! I wanna live in this bubble forever! 🙂
What would it mean to you to win Melodifestivalen?
Oh, let’s not think about that yet… One step at the time. I’m just trying to get through this first competition in Växjö. But of course it would be AMAZEBALLS to win!!!! 🙂
What kind of music do you listen to yourself?
I live for popmusic!
What is your favourite food?
A fresh salad with superfresh ingredients. And pancakes! 😉
Do you have a favourite Eurovision song?
Fångad av en stormvind, Every way that I can, My number one, Euphoria… Too many!
What’s your favourite song right now?
Snurra min jord! 😉 LOL!
