Manel Navarro wins Objectivo Eurovision and will represent Spain in Kyiv 2017!

Manel Navarro has won the ticket to Kyiv following tonight’s Objectivo Eurovision contest in Madrid! Manel impressed both the jury and the public voting with their performance to win the opportunity to represent Spain in Ukraine.

It wasn’t all as clear however, Manel recieved top scores from 2 of the 3 jury members, and ended up top of the jury rankings, when the public vote was revealed however it was discovered he had only finished 3rd of the 6 in the public vote. Mirela won the public vote and this lead her and Manel to tie on 58 points at the top of the leaderboard.

In a change to the Spanish selection this year, it was previously decided that the jury would get the final say, and that went to form as both Virgina and Javier had placed Mirela last in their rankings and Manel 1st, they followed suit in this final round and a result was called. The crowd didn’t sound pleased but we have a result, going to Kyiv its Manel Navarro with Do it for your lover!
