Freddie to be the Hungarian commentator at Eurovision 2017!

We all know that Freddie represented Hungary last year at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm with his song “Pioneer”. This year he is back to Eurovision once again, only this time as the Hungarian commentator.

After Gábor Gundel-Takács, the Hungarian Eurovision commentator in the past ten years left the national broadcaster MTVA, the Hungarian public will have two new commentators for this year’s Eurovision – Krisztina Rátonyi (who co-hosted this year’s two semi finals of A Dal), as well as Freddie – last year’s Hungarian Eurovision entrant.

About his new Eurovision role this year, Freddie said:

I am very pleased when I received this request. I feel excited, and I’m sure that I will be able to handle this task. I am already preparing some special information that will be very interesting for the viewers, as I know what goes on behind the scenes.

Freddie represented Hungary last year in Stockholm with the song “Pioneer”, and finished in 19th place in the Grand Final. Give a listen to “Pioneer” once again right here:
